We did not have a booking and called last minute. The Manager Michael was extremely accommodating. The Hotel rooms were very nice and the beds and pillows soft and comfortable . The rooms had heaters in the bathrooms which came in handy. The Resturant food was excellent and breakfast buffet was good. Would have like some fish options with breakfast ie salmon maybe this is something to consider. My husband was also accommodated with gluten free bread. The staff were very warm and welcoming . I would highly recommend this hotel . We will be back next year !

Nestled in a picturesque setting, it offers the perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation for two, especially if you enjoy cycling. The serene surroundings and well-maintained cycling paths allowed us to explore the area effortlessly, creating unforgettable memories along the way. What pleasantly surprised us was the versatility of the accommodation. While it's an ideal retreat for couples seeking tranquility, the spaciousness and amenities also make it a perfect choice for large family gatherings. Whether you're seeking a peaceful escape or a fun-filled reunion, this place has you covered. The experience was so exceptional that we're already looking forward to our next visit. We stayed at Landhaus Beckmann for several nights. Our room was big, quiet and clean and the bed was comfortable. Nothing to complain here. The breakfast was also good and they serve gluten-free bread on request. That is top! The Spa area is also nice. They have a steam bath, a 60°C and a 90°C sauna, nice shower and a great lounge area. However, they don't have a swimming pool/bath area although their description says something else. I think it should be free entry for hotel guests, but instead you pay 5 Euro per person per day. The restaurant serves a variety of food (see photos), with lots of vegan options. Some dishes are nice, others didn't hold up to our expectations. At one dinner, we waited 50min for the main course. It was busy, but there were still many free tables. For a 4 star hotel absolutely a No-Go! It also happened a few times, that the reception was unstaffed. Also a sign of mismanagement. The staff is polite and I think they are doing their best, but the hotel needs to improve its service to deserve its 4 stars. This is my opinion.
